The Physician Services Division is responsible for the development and maintenance of insured medical service programs to beneficiaries as defined under the Canada Health Act. The Division develops and implements guidelines and procedures for both salaried and fee-for-service physicians and negotiates with the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association (NLMA).
