The Policy Development Division supports the Strategic Plans of the Department and the Regional Health Authorities for the delivery of quality health and community services by studying and analyzing current evidence and best practices to inform policy, program and legislative development. This is achieved through various research, consulting and knowledge transfer activities. The Division works collaboratively with staff in the Department, other departments, research and health information organizations and stakeholders to ensure that the most up-to-date and accurate information is available to support decision making.
