Communications Software
Both Medical Care Plan (MCP)Connect and Medical Care Plan (MCP)SUBSYS are communications software packages that allow providers to connect their computers, via telephone line and modem, to the Medical Care Plan (MCP) computer network to send and receive files. This software is required for all electronic claim submission software packages (including Medical Care Plan (MCP)’s TeleClaim) which are used to prepare claims and submit batch files to Medical Care Plan (MCP).
Both Medical Care Plan (MCP)Connect and Medical Care Plan (MCP)SUBSYS incorporate password security and confirmation messages of file transfers. Medical Care Plan (MCP)Connect and Medical Care Plan (MCP)SUBSYS are provided free of charge.

Medical Care Plan (MCP) Connect (A)
- Designed for Windows 2000, or Windows XP
- A connection to the Medical Care Plan (MCP) computer network to submit and receive files
- A transmission log, listing all files successfully sent to Medical Care Plan (MCP) and all files successfully received from Medical Care Plan (MCP).
- The option to add and send specific files to Medical Care Plan (MCP)
- The option to print the transmission log
- An option to display authorized users for the software package
- Used in conjunction with Windows dial up networking

- Windows 2000 or Windows XP Service Pack 1
- Hayes compatible modem - 28.8 BAUD (used via phone line)
- 100 MB free hard drive space

Medical Care Plan (MCP)SUBSYS 4.0a
Medical Care Plan (MCP)SUBSYS 4.0a includes the following features:
- Designed for Windows95b, Windows95c or Windows98
- A connection to the Medical Care Plan (MCP) computer network to submit and receive files
- A transmission log, listing all files successfully sent to Medical Care Plan (MCP) and all files successfully received from Medical Care Plan (MCP).

Providers who wish to submit claims electronically must complete and submit an Electronic Claims Submission Application. An Electronic Billing Application must be completed and submitted for every billing location.
