Community Treatment Orders
As of January 1, 2008, the new act provides a new treatment option for a group of individuals who have often been difficult to serve because of their needs. The community treatment order (CTO) involves mandated treatment and care in the community under the supervision of the treating psychiatrist and an assertive case management team. |
