Secure File Transfer - MCP Communications Service for Providers

Secure File Transfer (SFT) is an enterprise service specifically for the purpose of transferring sensitive/confidential information/files securely to and from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. SFT is used via the internet to send submission files created using a billing software package (MCP's TeleClaim program or a vendor supplied package) to MCP, and to download TAD (Turn Around Document) and Remittance files from MCP.

Features:

  • SFT is a web-based system (No software install needed)
  • SFT is provided free of charge
  • Password Security
  • Data is encrypted in transit
  • For security and storage management, SFT files will expire and be automatically deleted after 7 days
  • Can accommaodate much larger files than enterprise email systems

Requirements:

  • Internet Connection
  • Email Access

Providers who wish to submit claims electronically must complete and submit an Electronic Billing Application PDF (761 KB). An Electronic Billing Application must be completed and submitted for every billing location.
